How exactly to Let Go of the Past and Be Happy

Something inside folks resonates with the question, “Just how can I release the past and be happy?  ” It is just a feeling or an awareness that knows that there’s something a lot more than this world is showing us. There’s something within us that is ready to burst and to shine.

Once we’ve had a glimmer of joy, there is a sense in us of Wow, I that way glimpse. a course in miracles Why can’t this often be what life is? Why can’t life often be fun? And the clear answer of the Spirit is, “It’s, it can!” That’s the reality, but we do need to release past associations and release the familiar in order to open our hearts as much as something much more than anything we’ve ever experienced on Earth.

How do you reach circumstances of mind where you are feeling certain that the past is finished; where you are feeling that there’s nothing left from the past that may haunt you or that may bring doubt to your mind anymore? It’s through guidance and trust.

The Holy Spirit may use time and the symbols in time to coach you on that there’s no time. He can use the symbols of the past—like words and anything in form—to inspire and to bless, and to provide you with the experience that you’re free right now.

When you really release the past through guidance, you’re not concerned anymore with the outcomes of the world. When you let everything be reinterpreted by the Spirit, then you can certainly recall your darkest hours or memory with a soft smile in your mind. You can think, Wow, it looks so different now with this higher interpretation. God, you were with me most of the time. You had been there in every circumstance and every seeming situation beckoning me, “Show up here with me and notice it with me, come see my perspective on the world. Come start to see the gentleness, the laughter and the joy.”

This experience doesn’t affect major things only—it’s every day! We can release the past and the familiar, learn to listen to present moment guidance and be happy at this time!
